Sebastian Horsley RIP

Alas, Sebastian Horsley has died of an apparent heroin overdose at 47.
This pic is from a session at his London studio in 2003. He had been (literally) voluntarily crucified in the Phillipines in 2000 as research for his paintings (one of which you see behind him). I have just finished, coincidentally, reading his autobiography "Dandy in the Underworld", and it is an amazing book : shocking, disgusting and hilarious in equal measures. Although a great raconteur, and a genuine Dandy, he seems also to have been a deeply troubled person, I hope he finds some peace now.
